Meet recap from Coach Z:

YoungJae was the Swimmer of the Meet, completely dominating both his events. In the 200 IM, he went a 1:54, beating his time from Regionals last year and coming .6 off the oldest school record from 1993. He also won the 100 Breastroke, with a 59.8! Swimmer of the Meet is determined by PowerPoints, and this is the first time we’ve had a Swimmer of the Meet for TISCA or any big meet.
The Swimmer of the Meet for our team was freshman Brandon Daniels, who placed 9th in the 200 IM, winning the consolation finals in a tough race against 2 Clements swimmers, and 10th in the 500 Free. Brandon dropped 3 seconds off his best IM time, 5 seconds off his 500 time, and 3 seconds off his best 100 free time on the relay. It was great to see Brandon win the consolation heat of the IM, and YoungJae feed off that energy and follow with the big win in the event. These two have been pushing each other in practice every morning, and it was evident this weekend.
