The Anderson Swim Team practices at Balcones Pool. Practices are Monday - Friday from 7:15 am to 8:55 am.
Is there a bus to practice? What about a bus
from practice to school?
Parents are responsible for
getting their swimmer to the pool. After practice there
is an AISD bus from that goes from Balcones Pool back to
Anderson.
Where does my swimmer take a shower and get ready for
school?
Showers are available at Balcones Pool and the
Anderson Athletic Locker Rooms.
Can my swimmer get a locker at
Anderson?

Swimmers must purchase their own locks, but the combination MUST be given to one of the team captains (Rachel B, Stefanie C, Joseph C or Tarrant D.)
What kind of gear does my swimmer need?

All team gear is handled by Joann Rosebaugh and Sonia Swenson. You may use the Team Gear Order Form to order any gear. Please return the form to Joann Rosebaugh and Sonia Swenson.

Blue Anderson Warm-Up Suit - Warm-ups can be ordered using the Team Gear Order Form

Swimming & Diving Spirit T-Shirt - The team creates a design and these are worn at times designated by Coach

Navy Polo Shirts - The team usually wears these on the day of the meet and at all travel meets.

Parkas and Swim Bag - Provided by AISD (Coach Z handles these)

Swimming Gear (Kickboards, fins, and pull buoys) - Swimmers must purchase their own fins and paddles. Fins should be cut 6 inches past the toes. Pull buoys are supplied by AISD, but they are the dated style. You may choose to buy a pull buoy too. LABEL ALL EQUIPMENT WITH YOUR NAME. It is also a good idea to purchase an equipment bag in order to prevent lost equipment. Lane Four Swim Shop carries these items.

How does my swimmer get to
the meet?
All students will be transported via
AISD or charter bus to and from meets. The bus will depart and
return to AHS. The entire team is expected to stay until the
end of each meet AND ride back on the bus with the team.
